How do you introduce a blog? Is this right?

i don't expect this to be anything deep or profound. it's just that over the past couple years i have told myself that i must start keeping a record of weird things that happen to/around me/my friends/my acquaintances and now i am finally doing it. please note that this will be rife with spelling and capitalization errors and i have no plans to correct any of said errors. i fully expect this to be enjoyable only for myself, so be forewarned.
